Our Safety Promise
We take child safety seriously. Here's what we guarantee:
- No data collection from children — ever
- No in-app purchases — nothing to buy, nothing to unlock
- No external links — children can't navigate away from Woofie
- No social features — no chat, no comments, no user-generated content
- No addictive mechanics — no infinite scroll, no autoplay, no push notifications
Woofie is a closed, safe environment designed purely for learning and play.
Data & Privacy
We believe children should be able to play and learn without being tracked. Here's how we handle data:
- No accounts or logins are required to use Woofie
- No personal information is collected from children
- No cookies are used to track children's behaviour
- No data is shared with third parties
All progress — stars, stickers and streaks — is saved locally on the device by default. Nothing leaves the device unless a parent chooses to sign in.
Saving Progress
Woofie saves stars, stickers and streaks automatically on the device. No sign-up needed — it just works.
If a family wants to save progress across multiple devices, a parent can sign in with their email address. Here's how it works:
- Children are always prompted to ask a grown-up before signing in
- Only the parent's email address is stored — no child data
- Progress syncs across devices linked to the same parent email
- Parents can delete their data at any time
The sign-in is entirely optional. Woofie works perfectly without it.
Content Safety
Every piece of content on Woofie is created in-house and carefully reviewed:
- All games, videos, songs and stories are original content
- No third-party content or user-generated material
- Age-appropriate language and themes throughout
- Positive messages about kindness, sharing and friendship
- No scary content, no conflict, no negative reinforcement

Safe by Design
Safety isn't an afterthought — it's built into every decision we make:
- Closed ecosystem — no links out, no links in from external sources
- No fail states — children can't get stuck or feel like they've failed

- Portrait mode on phones — prevents accidental landscape confusion for little hands

A Note for Parents
We know how important it is to feel confident about what your child is using. Here's our commitment to you:
- You can explore everything on Woofie yourself — there's nothing hidden
- We recommend 15–20 minute sessions for young children
- Shared screen time is always best — but Woofie is safe for independent use too
